THE HUNTSVILLE LIFE TEAM
Kim brings over 30 years of publishing experience to Huntsville Life. After serving as a vice president and associate publisher for other publications, Kim built a successful contract publishing business that took him around the country putting together corporate, city and government publications. When he returned to San Diego he worked with two of the cities top magazines San Diego Magazine and San Diego Home Garden. After Kim and his wife made the decision to relocate to Huntsville to be closer to family, he explored the city’s publications and decided that Huntsville was poised to have a full-feature, lifestyle magazine that focuses on the people, culture, events, and offerings of Huntsville and beyond.

Sandra O'Donnell, Ph.D
Sandra had been involved in publishing for over twenty years. She started a publishing company in the 1990s, which lead to a stint as a book coach and writing mentor. She recently launched RO Literary, a boutique literary agency specializes in nurturing promising writers. A writer herself, Sandra understands the deep connection we have to stories. As editor of Huntsville Life Magazine, Sandra plans to pursue stories that will inspire, inform, and ignite our readers, providing them with insight about the city and all it has to offer.
Nic’s quick wit, keen aesthetic, and deep understanding of the powerful combination of visual appeal and story makes him the perfect managing editor. He understands that words allow don’t always convey the ideas we hope to express and pictures, on their own, may not fully communicate an experience to a reader. Nic spent last summer traveling the “Revolutionary Road” following the path of the American Revolution, a trip he plans to write about someday, perhaps beginning with an essay in Huntsville Life Magazine.
When we looked around for someone to design our website, masthead and other graphic elements, we said “Wouldn’t it be great if we could find someone like Laura in Huntsville.” After looking at numerous possibilities, we decided there was only one person we wanted to work with – Laura herself. Laura designed the website for RO Literary, which has received recognition from clients and publishers. We knew how hard she works and we loved her creativity. We were thrilled when she agreed to be Creative Director for Huntsville Life Magazine, putting her creative stamp on this endeavor.
